HPV
- HPV vaccines protect against infection with human papillomavirus (HPV). We are in process of developing VLPs of HPV to prevent HPV borne infections.
- HPV types 6 and 11, which cause 90% of genital warts; HPV types 16 and 18, two high-risk HPVs that cause about 70% of cervical cancers and an even higher percentage of some of the other HPV types 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58, high-risk HPVs that account for an additional 10% to 20% of cervical cancers.
- We developed recombinant yeast based engineering platform for production of VLP of target HPV serotypes.
IPV
- Polio, also known as poliomyelitis, is a virus that attacks the brain and spinal cord. It’s highly contagious and can cause symptoms that range from fever and headache to paralysis.
- Due to the frequency of mutations in cell culture based vaccines, there is a need to develop recombinant polio vaccines thus to offer cost effective, safe and efficacious therapies.
- We developed recombinant yeast based engineering platform for production recombinant IPV vaccine.
